Do you really need Java as a requirment for campus placements?

I donot know any MNC (Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, HCl, Accenture, CTS etc )
that ask for j2EE as a requirment for frehers, if u know please
tell me.

I really saw people not getting jobs for 2 years because they focus on the wrong things.

to get a job u need
1) Arithmatic skills
2) Reasoning skills
3) Technical ( c, oops, Software engineering, OS, DBMS etc ) def not java.
4) communication skills

focus on right things and get job faster, focus on wrong things and wait 2 years. its really upto u.

THE ONLY TIME U NEED ADVANCED JAVA IS WHEN U DONT HAVE THE PERCENTAGES AND U LOOK FOR A JOB IN SMALL COMPANY.

A knows java has 60%+ through out but u are not good at communication or aptitude skills.
B Knows doesn't java has 60%+ through out and is good in aptitude and communaction skills.

who do you think will get a job A or B in an MNC as a fresher.

Definetly B, where do u stand MNC or small company.

I am not against java, infact we are looking for people who have Adv
Java skill but infosys and other MNC's are not thay are looking for B
not A.
